"You've got an odd look on your face, Scotto," said Melody. Suddenly self-conscious, I replied, "Well, I didn't expect to see you here of all places. I'm afraid I'm taken aback." "Don't fret, chum," she said. "I'll show you a little waterfall."
We went inside our garden, which had been empty for quite a while. I saw then when she entered, there was a rainbow and a gentle rain.
"What a journey you've had," she said, playing to my current fad. "You just look so much happier." And, she smiled in such a way that I could not discern her inner meaning. "Me too, my little friend."
